I only ever heard of this anime before and even if it was just an OVA, I can see why it has grown in popularity among fans. They managed to condense comedy, action, and drama in a very short runtime quite amusingly. The characters aren't half as bad either, I appreciate the variety of personalities on screen and their designs clearly reflect that as well. The animation, I guess wasn't as revolutionary as they thought it would be, but it did get things done when it mattered. Finally, the sound design was great, it carried the sense of cheeriness that the anime is trying to portray. Honestly, I became quite curious about the series after watching this, it was well worth the time.
