The setup feels like a world where the stakes of Sword Art Online meet the societal power dynamics of Accel World, but grounded in competitive e-sports rather than isekai mechanics. What caught my attention beyond the premise: the mecha designs are by Hidetaka Tenjin, and the soundtrack is composed by SUGIZO, so the aesthetic has this rock-infused futuristic edge to it.
