📖 SYNOPSIS

Set in 2167, Zone of the Enders: 2167 Idolo tells the story of Radium Lavans, a skilled but reckless BAHRAM pilot, and his comrade, Viola. The narrative explores the existing animosity between Earth and Mars, highlighting the prejudice Earth holds towards Martian colonists due to their physical differences and a long history of colonial oppression. Radium and Viola are selected to pilot Idolo, a revolutionary new Orbital Frame far superior to existing technology, built using the powerful Metatron material. While Idolo's power greatly surpasses any existing LEV, it also possesses a dangerous will of its own, influencing Radium's mind and transforming him into a ruthless killer. The story culminates in the Deimos Incident where a group of Earth spies infiltrates the testing facility. This leads to a tragic chain of events, impacting Radium and resulting in a devastating battle that sees Idolo destroyed. The OVA concludes with Viola, piloting a new Orbital Frame, heading towards Antilia Colony, setting the stage for the events of the first Zone of the Enders game.
