This episode is a total slow burn and I am here for it. We finally get the real lore and character depth needed to flesh out the world, especially with Zakuro’s tragic backstory about her mother. Even if the monster-of-the-week fight felt a bit mid, the bedroom banter and Kei actually trying to step up and support her was fire.
