Synopsis

Straight from the Dragon Palace of Korean folklore comes Kim Yong-man, a mythological princess who's decided to enroll in a regular human high school. Why? Honestly, that's part of the charm. She just wants to experience what it's like to be a normal teenager, which is a lot harder than it sounds when you're hiding the fact that you're basically mythological royalty. This 10-episode ONA, adapted from a web manga, leans into the comedy of Yong-man trying to navigate stuff like making friends, understanding social cues, and not accidentally revealing her origins. The school setting keeps things grounded while the fantasy elements give it a playful edge — think fish-out-of-water humor but rooted in Korean mythology instead of the usual isekai tropes. There's also a slow-building romance with a classmate that feels genuine rather than forced, which is refreshing for how short the series is. The whole thing has this warm, youthful energy. It's funny without being loud about it, and there's a real thread about identity and belonging running underneath the jokes. If you liked the character-driven warmth of Yona of the Dawn or the comedic premise of The Villainess Has Shrunk, this hits a similar sweet spot — lighter in scale but surprisingly easy to get invested in. Ten episodes, each pretty digestible. Good for a weekend afternoon when you want something gentle with a bit of heart to it.
