We finally get an explanation as to how everything went as it is. This is quite an emotional episode, it tackles an even deeper theme than expected from this series. But at least, it was handled with heart and maturity, it resonates well with story and probably caused some viewers to shed some tears. The penultimate performance should seal the deal for good. Anyways, this is one if the best the anime has to offer, very dramatic but also quite relieving, definitely made me excited for the finale and also made me empathize with the characters involved. What an outstanding effort from the production team, congratulations.
