Yi Jian Du Zun
Oshimeter
Synopsis
A chance encounter unlocks the Prison Tower — a legendary heavenly artifact — and young Ye Xuan finds his entire trajectory shifted in a historical fantasy world where gods, Buddhas, and immortals are real and apparently killable if you're skilled enough with a blade. He's no longer just some guy navigating a dangerous world; now he's on the path of sword cultivation, which means dedicating everything to mastering a power system that goes way deeper than it first appears. The Prison Tower isn't just a power-up — it's the kind of discovery that puts a target on your back and forces you to grow fast or get buried. The martial arts sequences are genuinely worth watching on their own. Xing Yi Kai Chen built something visually dynamic here, where fights feel weighted and deliberate rather than flashy noise. The soundtrack also does a lot of heavy lifting for the atmosphere, grounding everything in that historical world without it feeling stiff. If you've watched Ling Jian Zun or Yishi Zhi Zun and enjoyed the sword cultivation angle, this hits a similar rhythm — focused progression, escalating adversaries, and a protagonist who earns his growth rather than stumbling into it. Fans of Jiandao Di Yi Xian will also find the tone familiar. It's adapted from a web novel, so the world has actual depth behind it. Worth picking up if you want something action-driven with some real structure underneath.
