Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches
Oshimeter
Synopsis
When Ryuu Yamada entered high school, he wanted to turn over a new leaf and lead a productive school life. That is why he chose to attend Suzaku High School, where no one would know of his violent delinquent reputation. However, much to Ryuu's dismay, he is soon bored; now a second year, Ryuu has reverted to his old ways—lazy with abysmal grades and always getting into fights. One day, back from yet another office visit, Ryuu encounters Urara Shiraishi, a beautiful honors student. A misstep causes them both to tumble down the stairs, ending in an accidental kiss! The pair discover they can switch bodies with a kiss: an ability which will prove to be both convenient and troublesome. Learning of their new power, Toranosuke Miyamura, a student council officer and the single member of the Supernatural Studies Club, recruits them for the club. Soon joined by Miyabi Itou, an eccentric interested in all things supernatural, the group unearths the legend of the Seven Witches of Suzaku High, seven female students who have obtained different powers activated by a kiss. The Supernatural Studies Club embarks on its first quest: to find the identities of all the witches.

The plot was interesting and well written, and I loved the ending. The anime constantly kept the watcher on suspense and also did well in explaining every character and showing them their personalities. The only problem I think I have with it is that is was slightly paced a bit quick, it would have been better if it was more like a 16-18 episode season.
A happy ending indeed. I personally wish the series were longer. The whole story is really good, but the ending feels a bit rushed—though that’s to be expected from a 12-episode series.
The whole messy situation with Yamada trying to fix everything while the Student Council prevents it — what a heated episode! Definitely not one to miss.
This episode is intense! What Yamada hoped for turned out very differently. I really love the plot, and I’m excited to see what happens next!
Another character has been revealed and it turns out to be a Witch Killer same as Yamada. Things are getting serious as this guy is aiming to be next Student Council too!
Personally, this wasn’t a very interesting episode. Aside from the reveal of a new Witch, it was just okay. But I really liked Yamada’s character growth so far, especially how he offered to help someone who had been causing him trouble.
This was a really hype episode, especially the second part! It looks like all seven Witches will be introduced sooner rather than later, and I can’t wait!
The pacing is okay, and the episode is fun to watch. The interesting part is that another Witch has been found, and her power is awesome!
Story progression and pacing is very good so far! Things are getting more interesting as this episode reveal there are others with powers as well! Not an episode to miss either!
Looks like on this episode they reveal there's another powers beside body switching! It started out as chill and fun episode until Nene appeared! Don't miss this out!
that plot twist about Leona was pretty bittersweet. it sucked to have to come to terms with it and just let it go. it was slightly predictable that Yamada would wish for something like that to happen knowing how he always hoped for everyone’s suffering to end.
with everything that happened to them, now Yamada looked just like another red flag walking around for a kiss LOL the Student Council definitely knew how to keep him in check. and that ending was a nice plot twist. got me all worked up finally. Yamazaki was a pain in the ass for sure.
damn that was kinda sad to be honest. he was prepared for the power to take effect on him yet something else happened. i would be lost if that happened to me. but anyway, i have been waiting for something this big to happen to them. it was a good plot. we needed more problems. im glad the seriousness spiked up more than the previous episodes
Yamada was for sure very empathetic. he didn’t even hesitate when anyone asked for his help. it seemed that we now had a real problem with Tamaki in the picture. this was fun to watch. we needed more serious plots instead of just simple problems to deal with. but man Yamada was so cute when he blushed LOL it didn’t fit his rough image at all HAHA
Yamada really had to work on how he asked people to kiss him. he really be just going around school asking people to kiss him from the first meet lol anyway, it seemed that the plot finally got more interesting. we needed a problematic witch with a goal like this to spice up the plot.
i swear Miyamura was one of my favourite characters in this anime HAHA loved the way he just made things more chaotic for Yamada. but he was pretty smart as well when he had to be. the new power they just discovered for this episode was another cool one. Shiraishi was pretty bold and thoughtful here. and i also wonder why they didn’t just try to tell Tsubaki about it and convince him instead.
Otsuka had one hell of a power. out of all the powers we’ve discovered so far, hers was the coolest for me personally. but that would also backfire if not used properly. i just loved how chaotic each episode was with Miyamura and Ito being nosy and unhinged most of the time. Yamada on the other hand has been showing more empathy despite having a rough nature.
having his power was such a flex to be honest. but it could also backfire and cause him so much problems. i guess having Shiraishi by his side was a good thing since he couldn’t really make proper decisions with his pea brain LOL the powers we’ve seen so far were cool. can’t wait to see how this witch detector would find all of them
at this point Yamada was literally thrown in heaven and hell back and forth lol he could just enjoy his power or just literally be used for it. and there’s Miyamura and Ito just making things crazier for him HAHA im so entertained by this trio. the chaos they got themselves into everytime made it feel like it’s a must to keep watching
seemed like each one of them had a huge dream to achieve and there was Yamada dreaming for his microwave. and that Miyamura should really be controlled sometimes. how did he even get into Student Council with that behaviour. even Yamada had better manner than him. so far Yamada has been a super softie on the inside. it was nice to see his duality
