Synopsis

Raised by her grandfather, an Osaka yakuza boss, Yoshino Somei had a pretty normal life, until the day her family arranges her engagement to Kirishima Miyama, heir to a rival Tokyo yakuza clan, as part of a truce between the two groups. Now she's 17, uprooted to Tokyo, living under the Miyama family's roof, and going to school alongside a fiancé who seems perfectly charming on the surface. The catch? Kirishima's politeness is a mask, and what's underneath is genuinely unsettling. The guy has a taste for violence that goes beyond yakuza business, and once Yoshino figures that out, she doesn't run, but she decides to make him fall for her just so she can destroy him. That's the dynamic this 12-episode TV series sets up, and it's way more interesting than your typical arranged-marriage romance. Yoshino isn't a damsel; she's calculating, sharp, and raised around criminals, so she can hold her own against someone like Kirishima. The tension between them is less will-they-won't-they and more who-breaks-first.
