📖 SYNOPSIS
"Yakitori: Soldiers of Misfortune" unfolds in a future where the solar system is controlled by warring trade federations. Akira, a young man from Japan, yearns to escape the constraints of his homeland. Encouraged by his military cook friend, Pupkin, Akira makes the perilous decision to join an orbital drop infantry unit. These units, known for their high casualty rates, are derisively nicknamed "Yakitori" due to their expendable nature. The anime explores themes of survival, sacrifice, and the harsh realities of war within a setting of interplanetary conflict and the struggle for personal freedom.
