📖 SYNOPSIS
Xian Mu follows Lu Yun, a young archaeologist whose life is irrevocably changed when he discovers the "Book of Life and Death" in an ancient burial chamber. Transported to the Immortal Realm, Lu Yun is appointed the Langxie Tian Xuanzhou Prefecture Shepherd of Xuanzhou City. Facing political machinations from powerful families vying for his position, he seeks the Jiuqiao Jindan to improve his weak physique. During his quest, he encounters dangers like corpse monsters and the Shi Ling queen, and he learns about the Dan Xian Yuying, a messenger of reincarnation. With the help of the Book of Life and Death, Lu Yun begins to uncover the truth behind the scripture, facing challenges like the demonized Xuanhe River God and the threat of the Curse King. He seeks to understand the book's power and the secrets it holds, even if it means defying the heavens.
