We begin the episode by picking up where the sword theft left off in the previous chapter. Its characteristics are explained, and we understand why it's so special. We also learn a bit about the origin of the person who stole the sword. We're told not who they are, but what they are. This episode includes several explanations interspersed with combat scenes that help balance the more dialogue-heavy parts. The background music during the fight scene is excellent. We're still in a preparatory phase; characters are getting to know each other and introducing themselves. It's interesting that, amidst the apocalypse, the characters most involved in it also have to deal with their mundane jobs.
