A high school P.E. teacher and former swimming champion, Ikumi Sunohara appears to live a stable, ordinary life. Then a man with a very specific and very predatory set of interests decides she's his next target — and it turns out he's done this before, to someone close to her. This is a one-episode OVA from 2018 that wastes no time establishing its dark premise: coercion, manipulation, and a woman trying to hold her family together while someone methodically dismantles her options. The atmosphere is tense and uncomfortable in the way it's clearly meant to be, and Ikumi is given enough character grounding that you actually feel the weight of her situation rather than watching a blank-slate protagonist. The animation handles the psychological tension reasonably well for the format. If you've watched something like Otome Dori and appreciated how it builds dread before things unravel, this operates in similar territory.
