White Snake

Xiao-Bai, a white snake demon, is given the mission to assassinate an emperor's advisor who is slaughtering snakes for immortality. However, she is ambushed and severely injured, losing her memories in the process. She awakens in a snake-catcher village, unaware of her true identity and surrounded by enemies. There, she meets Xu Xuan, who rescues her, and their connection blossoms as they begin a journey to uncover her past. Their path is fraught with peril, as they are relentlessly pursued by Xiao-Bai's sister, Xiao-Qing, who is determined to retrieve her at all costs according to their Snake Mother's decree. The narrative explores the complexities of their relationship, set against a backdrop of conflict between Taoists, demons, and humans, ultimately leading to a story of love, self-discovery, and the clash of different worlds.
