The episode kicks off with Asmodeus heading to the Magical Apparatus Battler clubroom on behalf of Iruma, who is super busy after becoming the only student to reach Rank 5. When Azz gets there, he runs into someone completely unexpected: Amy Kiriwo, the sinister upperclassman who was supposedly on a leave of absence after his previous villainous stunts. Kiriwo acts all friendly and says he’s happy for Iruma’s success, but the vibe is instantly uncomfortable.

Thanks to past lessons from Professor Balam, Asmodeus notices something chilling—Kiriwo’s eyes look exactly like a demon who has completely succumbed to his "evil cycle." It’s an incredible scene that reminds us that before Iruma arrived, Asmodeus was the top student for a reason. He’s incredibly smart, and he spots the danger immediately. Meanwhile, the plot thickens outside the school as Wetoto of the Six Fingers approaches Amduscias Poro with a mysterious proposal, bringing the dangerous organization "Return to Origins" back to the forefront.

Even though about half the episode acts as a partial recap to remind us of Kiriwo's dark history, the tension keeps you on the edge of your seat. It leaves us with a lot of heavy questions about what Kiriwo's return means for Iruma, and whether Azz will tell Iruma about the encounter. It’s a fantastic, slightly darker episode that sets up the high stakes for the rest of the season.
