📖 SYNOPSIS
Yi Feng gets transported to the Xianjiang Continent with zero spiritual roots, which in this world basically means you're a nobody. No cultivation talent, no mystical powers, nothing. His only lifeline is a system that gives him what it calls 'essential life skills' — think cooking, cleaning, basic survival stuff. The catch is that every single thing he does, from chopping firewood to making dinner, somehow registers as god-tier power to the cultivators around him. He has no idea. He's just trying to get by, and meanwhile entire factions are losing their minds trying to figure out who this unfathomable master is.
The comedy lands because there's a genuine disconnect between Yi Feng's mundane self-perception and everyone else treating him like a walking catastrophe they don't want to provoke. It's a 14-episode ONA based on a web manga, so it moves quickly and doesn't overstay its welcome. The fantasy world has enough going on to keep things interesting between the gags, and the action sequences carry real weight even when the setup is absurd.
If you liked the oblivious overpowered vibe of Congqian Youzuo Lingjianshan or the cultivation world-building of Fighter of the Destiny but want something that leans harder into comedy, this fits that niche well. Fans of Mo Dao Zu Shi looking for a lighter tone in a similar setting might also find something to enjoy here. It's not trying to reinvent the genre — it just plays its one joke really, really well.
