This was such a great watch, and the twist at the end had me understand everything. The pacing here was action packed, from the rescue onto the crystal ball scene and then the midnight crisis, without any dead air at that. The animation here was pretty consistent. I do love the midnight search scene though, everyone has a specific task and the group didn't feel like a background decoration, I like how they made them still has personality even though the spotlight is in someone else.
