"Uchiko no Mama to Okaasan" presents the story of a young girl, Uchiko, who is living away from her original home. She is raised by two figures: a "mama" and a "mother." The twist lies in the nature of the mother, who is revealed to be a large, monstrous creature. The anime explores the complexities of family and belonging, particularly through the lens of this unconventional family unit. The project was conceived and initiated by Rabbit MACHINE, but unfortunately, the production was abandoned, leaving only the initial web release available for viewing. This incomplete state offers a glimpse into the intended narrative and the unique world Rabbit MACHINE sought to create.
