📖 SYNOPSIS

For eons, the grotesque Ogres dominated Earth, their power unchallenged save by the noble Guardians. This eternal struggle for control defined the planet's history. Fast forward to 2089, and the landscape has shifted. Humans now rule Neo-Shinjuku, a stark contrast to the past. However, beneath the city's surface, a remnant of the old order persists. The supreme Ogre, a survivor of the ancient conflict, still lives, harboring a desire to enslave the human race and reclaim dominion. This sets the stage for a renewed battle, echoing the age-old conflict between the Ogres and the Guardians, now playing out in a futuristic setting. The anime explores themes of power, oppression, and the cyclical nature of conflict.
