Wife Eater 3
Oshimeter
Synopsis
A month-long summer break forces Akito back to his quiet rural hometown after his workplace shuts down for renovations. No money, no plans — just a chance to decompress. What he doesn't account for is coming face-to-face with Miyuri, his sister-in-law he's had buried feelings for, and Sayoko, the warm maternal presence who practically raised him. He tries to keep things normal, play the dutiful brother-in-law, but an accidental slip of the tongue changes the whole dynamic. Suddenly the feelings he'd been sitting on for years are out in the open, and there's no taking them back. This 2-episode OVA from T-Rex, adapted from the visual novel, leans into that slow-burn emotional tension — the nostalgia of returning home, the awkwardness of unresolved feelings, and what happens when proximity forces honesty. The animation holds up well, with clean character designs and some genuinely expressive facial work that sells the emotional beats. Lighting and atmosphere get more attention than you'd expect for the runtime. If you've watched Resort Boin and appreciated a more grounded, relationship-focused setup rather than pure spectacle, this sits in similar territory. Fans of Oni Chichi who prefer a slightly more restrained emotional tone will also find something familiar here. It's a short watch, but it's not in a hurry — the pacing lets the character dynamics breathe before things escalate.
