Tsuma Netori Rei: Boku no Ayamachi Kanojo no Sentaku
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Working in Takafumi's favor are two things: a loving marriage to Makoto, a PE teacher he clearly adores, and a dream of opening his own restaurant that's finally within reach. Through his wife's senior colleague Yasuno, he's found the perfect location, and the academy's principal is even willing to invest. Everything is falling into place, which is exactly when you should start worrying. Takafumi leaves town for a few days to get the restaurant off the ground, feeling good about where things stand. Meanwhile, Makoto stays behind, continuing those late-night work sessions with Yasuno that have been piling up lately. The setup is quiet and domestic, almost mundane, but the tension creeps in through small details — the way Makoto deflects, the way trust gets extended just a little too far. This is a single-episode ONA adapted from a visual novel, so it moves fast and leans hard into the emotional weight of its premise. If you've watched something like Otome Dori or Netorare Jukujo and appreciated stories that take the time to establish a relationship before dismantling it, this one follows that same approach. The animation holds up, and the pacing gives the drama room to breathe rather than rushing straight to the conflict. It's bleak material handled with more restraint than you might expect from the genre.
