Tsuma ga Kirei ni Natta Wake

When suspicion gets the better of him, a husband hires a detective to investigate his wife Misako, and his suspicions turn out to be completely justified. The report comes back, and yeah, his suspicions were right. She's been sleeping with a guy named Kuroda. Instead of a messy confrontation or a clean divorce, Rintarou comes up with something far more complicated: he wants them to film a video together, and that's his price for staying quiet. What follows is a two-episode OVA that's less about shock value and more about the uncomfortable psychology underneath — neglect, resentment, and what happens when a marriage quietly falls apart before anyone admits it out loud. The characters feel like actual adults with actual baggage, not just placeholders for a scenario. T-Rex put real production effort into this one; the animation holds up noticeably better than most entries in the genre. If you've watched something like Soredemo Tsuma wo Aishiteru or Kimi ga Suki and appreciated when these stories actually try to build emotional context around the characters, this fits that same space. It's not going to be for everyone, and the premise is deliberately uncomfortable — that's kind of the point. But if you want something with a bit more weight behind it rather than pure fantasy, this two-episode run is worth the time.
