Transformers: Wild King W

On a planet called Elementros — where the energy is strange, the landscape is wilder than anything on Cybertron, and his closest ally is a giraffe who transforms into a robot — Optimus Prime finds himself in completely uncharted territory. That's the setup for Transformers: Wild King W, a sequel ONA that picks up with Optimus and Lightlong — an Energy Beast bonded to him — exploring a world built around five elemental forces: fire, water, earth, nature, and lightning. Megatron, never one to let a mysterious power source go to waste, has teamed up with a Dinosaur Tribe and is already scheming to absorb those same energies for himself. The central gimmick here is 'wildocking,' a combination mechanic where Energy Masters and Energy Beasts merge — think less Voltron cockpit assembly, more symbiotic partnership. It gives the Transformers formula a fresh angle without abandoning what makes it work. The short-form episode structure keeps things tight, which is actually a plus if you've ever bounced off longer mecha series. If you grew up with Transformers: Energon or have a soft spot for Beast King GoLion's creature-meets-robot aesthetic, this scratches a similar itch. It's aimed at kids, so the tone stays light and action-forward, but the elemental world-building gives it more texture than a typical toy commercial spin-off.
