Well, this episode certainly went places. I did not expect this series to tackle that genre of sci-fi at all for this episode. The tone takes a somewhat melancholic approach as Yoko and Airi reflects on how far humanity came and fall in just 1500 years.

A serene episode focused on exploration. No major revelations or happenings. Just exploring and enjoying the nature around. Yoko's physic-like dreams are getting more focus, raising even more questions that haven't been answered. And Airi is not a romantic, after all.

A touching episode. And somewhat an advertisement for Honda, I feel, haha. As beautiful as nature reclaiming the Earth is, the vibrant life of people is certainly missing in a post apocalyptic setting, and this episode encapsulates that well.

The post apocalypse isn't all sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes it can be, well, apocalyptic. Mother nature is scary and this episode reminds us of it. A somewhat sobering reminder that traveling across the country isn't just good vibes and nice scenery.
