Touken Ranbu - Hanamaru

Beautiful, but predicable ending. I found the themes of loss, friendship, and duty to be decently handled here. I did find this episode to be (the whole season frankly) stuck in a weird dichotomy though. It often presents itself as lighthearted in nature but then throws in serious dark themes like in this episode. Decent one to end the season, but I think some people will struggle with continuing on with the follow-up seasons.

We have waited all season, but we finally get an epic battle sequence that is also quite lengthy. The music and the animations also really stood out to me. One of the best episodes of this season.

It's such an interesting choice to consistently not highlight the battles more frequently in this series. As this episode features a fantastic battle that once again is cut way too short. I did enjoy the real Japanese lore thrown into the second half, but pretty mid episode overall.

I rather enjoyed this episode, in particular the second half. The plot involving regret was interesting and the battle sequence was nice (especially since they are so rare). I really wish going forward we see longer battles like in this episode.

You know to be a show about warrior swords, they sure do alot of lounging about. This episode was really more filler, I did enjoy the ghost story in the second half. Beyond that there isnt much to note in this one.

What a touching episode. It was nice to get all the brothers reunited. I also enjoyed the focus on some of the younger swords, since we rarely get much story from them. Another win for this episode is allowing much of it to take place outside the citadel, something I hope future episodes will try to incoporate more.

I quite frankly found this episode rather odd. From the offset I was expecting an exciting action-packed adventure, but instead we had a bunch of random sing songs for literally no reason. To make it worse they added some new sword warriors with no explanation, which only adds to the massive roster of background characters. Really confused by the direction of this one.

This was one of the better episodes so far. I really enjoyed the new character. Unlike previous sword warriors, he seemed to have more depth and backstory. I also enjoyed the jealously storyline and how it blended well into the overall narrative. The one issue I have is how quick battle sequences are in the series, especially since they are so beautifully done. We just need more of that and less exposition.

This was a fun episode, at least the first half. It almost felt like two episodes in one with how it was structured. The music was great and the swords had some genuine funny moments. Unfortunately, they continue to add more characters to the story which doesn't allow us the audience to get to know each individual sword on a deeper level. Still though a decent episode.

It ended well; however, they could have spent more episodes with the main story because it felt like they rushed it in the last one so it would have closure.

Bastante interesante, pero me hubiese gustado que esta trama, que es principal y bastante dramática, hubiese tenido más tiempo en pantalla. Solo hacia el final se puede apreciar.

At this point, I would have expected more solid experiences. This one felt, again, like an episode you could skip, so it's a bit disappointing that it doesn't contain more relevant things.

We continue to know them on a deeper level, but nothing too relevant takes place either. IT's a fun one, for sure.

This episode was pretty suspenseful compared to the other episodes. I couldn't stop laughing when the laughing doll broke and just wouldn't stop laughing. Nikkari is weird, but he's hilarious. Anyway, the ending is reaaally wholesome. I love them all (though I still don't know half of their names lol)

Alright I just found out some of the swords' former owners were actually enemies. I thought they were all on the same side, since there's not much explanation regarding the historical figures. And the story kinda gets more serious..

Estuvo ok, bastante simpático y gracioso, pero no siento que haya sido un episodio realmente importarte. Fácilmente se podría saltar.

No creo que sea un capítulo realmente relevante. Sin embargo, le aporta entretención y suavidad a la trama. Aun falta por conocer a varios personajes.

Un episodio bastante diferente, con bastante humor y nuevas aventuras. Un momento liviano, por lo que espero que la trama se vuelva dramática otra vez.

Me dio la impresión como de que este episodio fue más de relleno que trama importante.

Another fun episode, I guess. Nothing much to note in this episode, though I didn't expect Kogitsunemaru to have a... quite... soft personality; despite his looks!
