📖 SYNOPSIS
"Tong Tong - You You no Hi no Youjin" follows the adventures of panda siblings Tong Tong and You You. The pair, based on real pandas, attend school and are often scolded by their teacher, Lion-sensei. One night, a fire erupts due to a lit candle, prompting the fire brigade to intervene. Witnessing this, Tong Tong and You You learn about fire safety. The next day, a fire breaks out at their school. Remembering their lessons, the duo bravely use their knowledge and call 119, the emergency number, to summon the fire brigade and save their school. This short anime serves as an educational tool, teaching children about fire safety. It also commemorates the 20th anniversary of the Normalization of Sino-Japanese Relations, a period marked by the temporary exchange of pandas.
