One of the best payoffs over, watching Kaneki get tortured was intriguing yet disturbing as we see his mental breakdown with him finally accepting his ghoul side. The soundtrack, plus his new appearance and mentality, made it even more tense, made better by Kaneki giving his tormentor a taste of his own medicine.
