Synopsis
Rinka Urushiba works part time as a waitress to help out her unemployed father. By all accounts, her life in Tokyo is a relatively normal one—but her sense of normalcy begins to fade when she inexplicably sees a flying penguin one day. Chasing it all the way to the top of a building, she encounters more surprises, including flying goldfish and another person—a classmate named Kyoutarou Azuma—who can also see these strange things. After Rinka passes out when a goldfish phases through her, she wakes up an esper with the ability to phase her body through solid matter. However, her newfound ability is not the only strange thing about her: when she uses her powers, her hair turns white. Deciding reluctantly to use this new gift to help the city, she becomes Tokyo's new hero, dubbed the "White Girl." Along with Kyoutarou, who gained the power of teleportation, Rinka begins righting the wrongs in the city while fighting other espers who have much less noble intentions.

Aku pasti akan merekomendasikan anime ini ke siapapun yang belum nonton, karena plot dan eksekusinya yang bagus. Aku hanya berharap banyak karakter yang bisa dieksplorasi lagi dengan kekuatan mereka. Endingnya pas dengan selera saya pula. Aku suka sekali dengan arc Rinka. Dia karakter utama yang tidak terlalu berlebihan tapi tetap jelas dengan tujuan utamanya. Kyoutarou juga punya prinsip yang sangat bagus. Mereka saling melengkapi.
Menurutku, karakter Kobushi ini tidak terlalu dikembangkan potensinya di dalam cerita ini. Padahal dia kekuatannya lumayan berguna untuk stealth operation loh. Ada banyak adegan yang menunjukkan kekuatan villain espers yang tidak konsisten, sih. Jadi hanya untuk sekadar penggerak plot, mereka dibuat tidak begitu kuat lagi. Tapi, tetap seru hehe. Aku enjoy enjoy aja, sih, nontonnya. Hahahah
Aku baru mau komplain soal motif sebenarnya si Profesor di episode sebelumnya. Ok, dari episode ini bisa berasa banget dongkol dan dendamnya si Profesor. Kayaknya aku di pihak dia juga, sih. Pemerintah mau gimanapun ga bakal berubah. Udah bebal.
Wah lumayan brutal juga, ya. Apalagi latarnya di sekolah. Creator anime ini benar-benar serius untuk bikin ini Adult Rated. Third act ini lumayan serius apalagi dengan dinamika politiknya juga. Aaaah, seru banget.
Apa lagi yang direncanakan si Profesor? Jadi takut. Apalagi anime ini nggak segan-segan nunjukkin kekerasan. Agak curiga sama adegan Koutarou di akhir itu, ya. Sepertinya bakal ada jawaban di episode 9.
Jujurly episode ini jauh lebih bagus untuk pacingnya dari episode 6. Training montagenya lebih sinematik dan ada obyektifnya. Murasaki juga lucu banget hahahaha. Akhirnya ada adegan humor sedikit lagi.
Ini episode di mana pacingnya paling lambat, menurutku dan cukup membosankan meskipun ada adegan latihan. Dari sisi directingnya mungkin yang kurang sinematik sehingga ada adegan yang seharusnya punya higher stake jadi awkward.
The action in this show is chef's kiss along with the usage of people's abilities! I do think the plot is nothing new and overly done but it was fun! The animation was solid throughout the whole show and I enjoyed many of the characters. The birds were pretty funny and OP. [8.21/10] For those that will read the manga, its great except the protagonist changes and I don't like her.
We are now circling back to the beginning of this show. This is also the power of racism, you think you can handle terrorism by generalizing a minority. Side note, I believe Peggi's gonna get a girlfriend!
Bro is justfiedly jaded but there was soooo many ways to handle this. Also, the main problem is that his daughter was put in immediate danger because of his actions
Honestly, the backstory for Minami provides intense characterization. Girlie could not think for the best because she lost her support systems.
Yesssss our princess is backkkkkk! I really have concerns for Ayumu's mother because how little do you care for your son and your ego.
I just remember that her abilities remind me of the guy from MHA! Though, this came out first. I love Murasaki thriving. Also, Minami is participating in some intense cognitive dissonance.
A training arc!!!!! Also, I love Azuma being the damsel in distress every crucial time for Rinka to save. The fan service on the other hand is quite strange to see all time
This show is mainly throwing hands and lore drops in between, respect. Also, the wack borderline incestuous relationships need to stop in anime.
There was action and lore drops galore! I love the Azuma reveal as his morals directly contradict what the actions of their enemy.
I like that we get a better understanding of the character motivations through their own explanation and actions. Murasaki is so adorable and Peggi is my favourite.
This rewatch is getting me nostalgic. I love Azuma and Rinka's dynamic! Also, Rinka's dad is so damn funny.
Itu pasti sakit banget, 'kan, Azuma? Huaaa stakesnya makin tinggi aja. Tapi, aku masih belum ketemu motif yang lebih jelas dari si villain. Kalau cuma soal ideologi, kek boring sih sebenarnya. Pacingnya agak lambat 85% di episode ini. Aku sampe naikkin speed ke 2x.
Sudah mulai terbiasa dengan art style serta jalan ceritanya. Backstorynya mulai nyambung sama semuanya. Psychometry lumayan keren juga, ya. Eh, si penguin itu juga lucu banget. Hahahha
