📖 SYNOPSIS

"Tie Shan Gongzhu" presents an animated adaptation of the classic Chinese folk tale "Journey to the West." The story centers on the Monkey King and his companions as they travel westward on a perilous journey. Their progress is halted by the formidable Fire Mountain, a barrier of intense flames that prevents their passage. To overcome this obstacle, they learn of a special iron fan capable of quenching the fire.

However, this fan is in the possession of Princess Iron Fan, a character unwilling to part with her powerful artifact. The film explores the challenges faced by the Monkey King and his friends as they attempt to persuade or otherwise obtain the fan from the princess, highlighting themes of perseverance, resourcefulness, and the importance of overcoming obstacles on their quest.
