Seeing Haruka withdraw to her grandfather's home to protect her friends is deeply heartbreaking. The emotional weight of her loneliness contrasts beautifully with the ESP Club's fierce loyalty. It is a poignant, beautifully acted episode that perfectly sets up the finale.
