Masaru's errand is simple enough — his stepmother Saori just needs him to pick something up from her sister Miyuki's place after school. Except when he walks in, he finds Miyuki in a very private moment, and she's saying his name. That's the setup for Inbo, a 3-episode hentai OVA from 2005 that leans hard into taboo family dynamics and the messy tension that follows from that one awkward afternoon. What makes it stand out from generic entries in the genre is that it actually takes time to build the relationships. Masaru isn't just a stand-in — there's a real dynamic between him, Saori, and Miyuki that creates genuine tension rather than just jumping straight to the obvious. The story doesn't rush, and the character interactions feel grounded enough to keep things interesting between the explicit scenes. If you've watched Immoral Sisters and appreciated how that series used family drama to add weight to its story, this scratches a similar itch. Fans of Step Up Love Story who want something edgier, or people who liked Aneimo's forbidden relationship framing, will probably find this familiar territory done reasonably well. It's not trying to reinvent anything — it knows exactly what it is. But within that lane, it's put together with enough care in the character work and animation quality that it doesn't feel disposable. Three episodes, one afternoon gone very wrong, and a family situation that gets considerably more complicated from there.
