Episode 12 is a solid episode that sets up the finale, but it feels rushed. The demon fight is brutal and effective, and Seika's decision to stop hiding is a meaningful character moment. However, the episode tries to do too much in 24 minutes, and the transition from action to political intrigue feels abrupt. As a setup for the finale, it works. As a standalone episode, it's uneven.
