📖 SYNOPSIS
*The Nearest Distant Star* is a short film collaboration between loundraw and the Z-KAI Group, created for PROJECT COMMON. The story takes place in the same world as loundraw's first movie, *Summer Ghost*. The narrative centers on Kaori, a young student involved with the Astronomy Club. She is diligently preparing for her school entrance exams, utilizing Z-KAI's educational resources to aid her studies. The film explores Kaori's journey through this period of learning and self-improvement. Two versions of the ONA exist: a shorter, one-minute version and a full-length version. The story focuses on the challenges and aspirations of a student striving to achieve her academic goals.
