Synopsis
A single phone call from his estranged father, asking for one thing, revenge, sets Tatsuya Kadono's story in motion. He gets hired as his personal secretary and works his way into the household itself, navigating a web of wives, heirs, and political maneuvering from the inside. The setup is more layered than you'd expect from a hentai OVA, leaning into power dynamics and personal betrayal rather than just using politics as wallpaper. Studio T-Rex keeps the pacing tight given the short runtime, and the character dynamics within the Arimori family add texture to what could have been a straightforward revenge setup. If you've watched something like Kansen: Inyoku no Rensa and appreciated when there's actual story holding things together, this scratches a similar itch. Fans of Kuroinu who prefer their dark narratives grounded in human corruption rather than fantasy stakes might also find this worth the short time commitment.
