The iDOLM@STER Million Live! Itsuka, Mannaka de
Oshimeter
Synopsis
A chance encounter with a 765 Production concert is all it takes for Mirai Kasuga to feel, for the first time in her life, like she's found something worth chasing. She's not alone — Shizuka Mogami has dreamed of being an idol for years but can't quite convince herself (or her family) it's worth the risk, and Tsubasa Ibuki is the type who drifts through life without landing on anything that sticks. The three of them end up auditioning for 765 Pro's Live Theater, and from there it's all about whether they can actually handle what comes next. This OVA, produced by Shirogumi and set for 2026, is rooted in the Million Live branch of the iDOLM@STER franchise, which means you're looking at a cast that eventually balloons to 39 idols — but the core here stays tight on these three and what drives each of them. The 3D-CG performance sequences are a big draw, giving the stage numbers a level of choreographic detail that's hard to pull off in traditional 2D. The tone is warm without being saccharine, leaning into personal stakes like self-doubt and finding direction rather than just cute girls doing cute things on stage. If you liked Love Live for the friendship dynamics, or BanG Dream for watching characters discover themselves through performance, this hits a similar nerve but with a slightly more grounded emotional register. Worth your time if idol anime is even remotely your thing.
