The Hills Have Size

A college student living alone, Ryoji is close enough to his uncle's place that he's basically become a second member of the household. His uncle Hisashi is constantly away for work, so Ryoji ends up being the reliable guy who helps out his aunt Kasumi and her daughter Mio. The problem? He's quietly, completely in love with Kasumi — and that's not a situation with a clean resolution. When a string of burglaries hits the neighborhood, Hisashi's solution is to just have Ryoji move in. Suddenly, the distance that kept things manageable is gone, and Ryoji is living under the same roof as the woman he can't stop thinking about. This 2-episode OVA from 2005 is adapted from a visual novel and leans fully into that forbidden tension — the setup is domestic, the atmosphere is charged, and the moral lines are deliberately blurry. If you've watched something like Taboo Charming Mother or Chuhai Lips: Canned Flavor of Married Women and appreciated how those handled slow-burn domestic tension, this sits in the same space. It's not trying to be subtle about what it is, but the character framing gives it more texture than you might expect from a short-form hentai OVA. The animation holds up for its era, and the pacing lets the dynamic between Ryoji and Kasumi breathe before things escalate. Two episodes, straightforward premise, does exactly what it sets out to do.
