The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody is a failure on almost every level. It has a good premise, a decent soundtrack, and a few character designs that aren't terrible. Everything else—the writing, the pacing, the animation, the emotional core—is a mess. The show doesn't know what it wants to be: a comedy, a harem, a drama, an action series. It tries to be all of them and succeeds at none. The protagonist is boring, the supporting cast is wasted, and the story is incoherent. It's not offensively bad. It's just aggressively mediocre. And somehow, that's worse.
