Episode 10 is a mess. The time-travel arc has potential on paper, but the execution is lazy and the pacing is sluggish . The big twist about the altered timeline doesn't land because the episode doesn't give it room to breathe. Varvatos—the one character who should be interesting—is wasted. And Ard remains the same blank slate he's been since Episode 1.
If you were hoping the Ancient Arc would justify the show's existence, this episode confirms it won't. It's just more of the same: weak writing, weak animation, and a protagonist who feels nothing.
