A satisfying conclusion to Amane’s story. This episode finally explores the aftermath of the events from the previous episodes, and surprisingly, there seems to be at least a small glimmer of hope. Now that all the girls’ stories have been completed, I feel that the anime could have done more to explore their present-day personalities beyond their individual backstories. If I had to rank the stories based on how much they impacted me, from highest to lowest, it would be: Amane > Makina > Michiru > Sachi > Yumiko. Do I feel like playing the Visual Novel after watching the anime? I’m still not sure. I’ll have to wait until I’ve finished the entire adaptation before making that decision.

I sure am glad I’m done with this episode. That said, there are definitely some holes in the way the story was written, especially when it comes to the aftermath. Maybe the studio skipped some parts, or perhaps the Visual Novel goes into more detail, but honestly, for the sake of my sanity, I’m kind of glad the story was left this way. I think Yuuji handled the situation the best way he could after hearing the whole story. Even so, knowing what happened to Amane's past still left me with a really bitter aftertaste.

Watching this episode was honestly painful, not because it was bad, but because I really hate this kind of story. I can definitely empathize with Amane and what she’s feeling in the present, especially considering how much Kazuki contributed to the situation. The studio did a good job of not showing the gory details, but even without showing them, seeing their situation still took a heavy toll on me. Like I said in the previous episode, this is definitely the heaviest story among all the girls.

Based on the episode title, this is another story that won’t be resolved in just one episode. It’s pretty obvious who’s going to be the focus of this story, and right from the beginning, there’s already a big reveal about her connection to Yuuji. The studio made sure not to show any of the gory parts in this episode, but based on what Amane said at the beginning, I don’t think this is going to be a nice story. I have a feeling this might end up being the heaviest story out of all the girls.

This is just an observation, but I’ve noticed that whenever a story gets more than two episodes, it tends to be much heavier 🤔. This episode reveals everything about Makina and her disgusting af mother. The opening sequence initially made me wonder if I had accidentally skipped something because the events felt deliberately out of order. However, once everything came together, the story became much more satisfying. Compared to the previous ones, I found Makina’s conclusion much more satisfying. With only one girl left, I’m curious to see what her story has in store.

As the episode title suggests, this isn’t going to be a single-episode story. This time, Makina takes center stage. The episode also briefly touches on Yuuji’s past, although sadly, there’s still no face reveal for Asako. That scene toward the end was a pretty big surprise. It felt like getting doused with cold water and being suddenly snapped awake. There’s still quite a bit left to reveal about Makina and I’m really intrigued to see how Yuuji is going to handle things this time.

It’s now Sachi’s turn in the spotlight, and it’s quite surprising to see how she is connected to Yuuji. The reason for her transfer to Mihama Academy hasn’t been revealed yet, but judging from how she acted in this episode and the hint from Yumiko, I’ve pretty much figured it out. If I had to rank her story compared to the other two, I’d put Sachi’s in last place. I feel like her story could’ve been much more impactful if the studio had shown more details about what happened after the incident. That extra context probably would’ve made her situation hit me harder.

This episode puts Yumiko in the spotlight, with some action and a full reveal of her story. However, I felt like everything was moving a little too fast. Maybe it’s because Michiru’s story had two episodes to properly build up and reach its conclusion, while Yumiko only gets one episode. P.S. I’m not convinced that Yumiko made the right decision here. In fact, I feel that her actions contradict the lesson presented in the previous episode, which makes her decision even more questionable 🤔

This episode explains everything about Michiru. During the flashback, it feels like the studio left out something about her best friend. Honestly, I think that’s somewhat fine because if it was revealed, I feel like my blood pressure would have gone through the roof. I already have a theory about what happened and based on the circumstances, I feel like my deduction might be pretty close. Unlike the previous episode, this one ends on a much more lighthearted note. P.S. Vox is Latin for "voice," which I think is a fitting title for this episode.

This episode focuses on Michiru, and there’s a big reveal about her in this episode. However, the episode doesn’t really explain much about it just yet. The story balances light and heavy moments, but the ending takes on a much heavier tone.

This episode has the lighthearted tone you’d normally expect from a slice-of-life anime, and the amount of fan service has definitely increased. But if you already know the genre of this anime, this episode can feel surprisingly unnerving. Everything seems a little too normal, so I’m pretty much expecting something big to happen in the next episode.

If you think this episode is going to have some huge action scene because of what happened at the end of the previous episode, well... you better watch it and find out 😉. The episode title itself isn’t exactly helpful when it comes to revealing Yumiko’s true nature. Honestly, if that scene at the end of the previous episode didn’t happen, most of Yuuji’s half-assed explanation after meeting JB would sound pretty normal. This episode also finally explains why Yuuji was taken in for questioning right at the beginning. On top of that, we get a short flashback showing how the five girls first met after transferring to Mihama Academy.

This anime is based on a Visual Novel, and from what I’ve researched, the original source is pretty gory and contains 18+ content. I haven’t played the Visual Novel, though, so I’m reviewing this purely as an anime-only watcher. Right from the opening, the anime gives off an ominous vibe, and that ending definitely got me curious. There’s some nudity and obscenity here and there, but thankfully, it’s not excessive enough to ruin the viewing experience. The characters are pretty quirky, and even though the actual core of the story hasn’t been revealed yet, I’m already hooked by all the mysteries. This episode doesn’t give you all the answers, but honestly, that just makes me want to know more. The studio handling the production is the same studio behind Blue Lock and Tensura. And thankfully, the animation here is much closer to Tensura

Yuuji is an absolute gigachad! Really love how this ended though I wanted to know more how Yuuji ended up being that kind of person! Also you can really tell that this isn't over. We get a small glimpse or a tease for the next season!

Dang this episode is creepy as hell. I'd say the darkest of them all. Also for me Amane experience the worst of em all. I feel bad for her. Now I fully understand Amane's actions. Now all that is left is Yuuji. Why he is like that!

Super duper dark episode. Literally the whole episode is a flash back and it's a really important one since it's probably on of the core's of our main character. Though the story is a cliffhanger and probably continued to the next episode!

YES MORE AMANE SCREEN TIME! I LOVE IT! I know this is based on a game and the flow of the plot is based on your decisions. A rally great job showing each and every heroine's route in every episode! I enjoyed this episode specifically!

Almost 2 episode just for Makina's plot? Not a big fan of her though it'sokay. I would much appreciate it if Yumiko or Amane had more screen time since they are my favorite characters. Also I need more romance!

Ain't Makina a brave gal? AHAHAH, the guts of her to do that to Yuuji! Not only it had a great plot, but the short comedies of the episode are peak! Also a good plot where this episode is slightly more focused on Makina! Though it felt like it lacked something.
