Kindaichi's deduction was genuinely impressive. My own theory was completely off and I never expected the classic double feint to play such a major role in this case. I was also surprised by the return of a certain character whom Kindaichi knows very well. I had briefly considered the possibility, but I dismissed it almost immediately, making the reveal even more effective. That said, I can't honestly say I found the ending satisfying. Once all the details came to light, I unexpectedly found myself sympathizing with the culprit. Their motivations were surprisingly understandable, making the conclusion more bittersweet than satisfying.
