It was impressive to see how Kindaichi solved the locked-room mystery and uncovered the trick behind how the culprit hid the murder weapon. The explanation completely caught me off guard, even though the clues had been subtly planted throughout the previous episodes. The only downside is that the inconsistent artwork still hasn't improved. The rough visuals are noticeable once again, but by this point, I've accepted them and chosen to focus on the mystery itself which continues to be the show's greatest strength.
