This was a really good final case for the season. I don't know if it was intentional but this case also felt like it had some interesting parallels with the first case of the season. I'm also glad that my prediction turned out to be correct. It helped that I noticed an important detail early on, especially since some of the major clues relied on information that I wasn't very familiar with. Without catching that detail, solving the case would have been much more difficult. Overall, I found this season to be an enjoyable experience. The biggest advantage it has over the 1997 anime is its modern presentation and visuals, but when it comes to the selection of stories, I still think the 1997 anime has the stronger lineup.
