Another case, another failed deduction on my part, although I still think my theory about the motive was fairly plausible 😅. I also expected Akechi to have his moment in the spotlight this time, but Kindaichi completely stole the show. Kindaichi's deduction caught me by surprise, especially because it relied on details I had dismissed in previous episodes as perfectly ordinary. Looking back, the clues were there all along, but I failed to recognize their significance. The episode doesn't reveal everything just yet, I was convinced the case would be wrapped up here only for it to end on a cliffhanger. Now I'm even more eager to see how the mystery concludes.
