Synopsis
Two high schoolers in love, Asuka and Ryosuke are planning their wedding and honeymoon, the kind of wholesome setup that makes you think you're watching something sweet. Then Asuka gets kidnapped in the first episode, and the show reveals exactly what kind of story it actually is. The men who take her are part of a sexual slavery ring that abducts young women for sadistic films, and the series does not soften what that means. Her mother and little sister are eventually pulled into the same nightmare, and the whole thing spirals into something deeply unsettling. This is a 3-episode OVA from 2001, adapted from a visual novel, and it carries that era's tendency to lean hard into dark subject matter without much restraint. The character designs are detailed enough that you genuinely feel the emotional weight on these people, and the soundtrack does real work in keeping the atmosphere tense rather than exploitative for its own sake. If you've watched Kyouhaku: Owaranai Ashita or Shin Kyouhaku 2 The Animation and you're familiar with that corner of dark OVA storytelling, this fits that same space. It's not comfortable viewing, and it's not meant to be. The narrative is built around trauma, exploitation, and what survival looks like when someone's world collapses entirely. Go in knowing what you're signing up for.

momo_creati★★★☆☆EP 1You can tell this is going to be a rough watch once the sister gets grabbed because the scale of the trap is just massive
goh★★★★☆EP 1The production quality is higher than expected and those parking lot scenes are brutal but that reveal at the end keeps you interested
misty_336★★☆☆☆EP 1Ryosuke is completely useless in this and seeing his fiancee get dragged off while he is clueless makes the whole thing feel worse
shinobu_sting_130★★★☆☆EP 1I felt sick when Asuka realized she was being watched the whole time, and the way they treated her family at the end was just cruel
puck_the_elf★★★★☆EP 1Starting with a wedding and then jumping straight into a slavery ring is a huge tonal shift that you might not be ready for
yeti_291★★☆☆☆EP 1The way they lured her in at the hotel was actually pretty clever, but the rest of the episode feels extremely mean spirited. Seeing the sister get caught up in the same mess makes the situation feel hopeless, and the reveal that they were targeted specifically changes the whole dynamic. It is a lot darker than the first series ever got
sharp_279★★★☆☆EP 1I hate seeing the wedding planning get ruined and the way Ryosuke just lets her walk off alone into that trap is so frustrating to watch
reiner_ronin★★★☆☆EP 1That twist with the sister and mom makes everything feel so much more calculated and the ending really leaves you hanging
yumichika_peacock_469★★★★☆EP 1My heart sank when the mother showed up because it means the whole family is basically doomed and I was just expecting a normal kidnap plot
rach_m★★★★☆EP 1The transition from happy couple to that dark parking lot was jarring and the animation during the group scenes actually looked decent
daemon_coder★★★★☆EP 1the realization that she might have been hunted specifically for this film ring is the part that actually sticks out because it makes every interaction before that feel so much creepier
zexion_456★★★☆☆EP 1that group of men was actually terrifying for how quickly they snatched her up and then finding out her sister was next just made the whole situation feel completely hopeless
raihan_353★★★☆☆EP 1the sudden shift from the happy hotel planning to that dark parking lot was intense, and seeing her realize it was all a trap for her whole family made it worse
toga_260★★★★☆EP 1i felt sick when they showed her family getting caught too because it makes the whole thing feel way more targeted and malicious than just some random bad luck
edward_wong_178★★★★☆EP 1seeing asuka go from dreaming about a wedding to being dragged away in that parking lot was so jarring and the way she just lost everything in minutes felt so brutal
finral_flyer★★★☆☆EP 1The way this episode builds up the honeymoon vibes only to snatch it all away in that secluded parking lot is genuinely haunting. It handles the transition from a high school romance to a full-on nightmare better than most shows in this genre. Watching Asuka lose everything right when her life was starting was a massive gut punch that stuck with me.
bakeneko_blade_222★★☆☆☆EP 1the plot is just an excuse for terrible things to happen to asuka and the graduation wedding setup makes it feel even more twisted
kumaru_yukihara★★☆☆☆EP 1it is definitely a weird mix of horror and adult themes and seeing the kidnappers reveal their plan for the movies was the most uncomfortable part
