📖 SYNOPSIS

In 2002, Japan is devastated by a volcanic eruption, earthquakes, and tsunamis, leading to the country's division by a subsequent earthquake. Fifteen years later, the nation is split, with China governing the North and the United States governing the South. Japanese refugees are scattered, with many residing in Taiwan. However, tensions rise between the refugees and Taiwanese citizens due to job competition and worsening living conditions. Genichiro Ryu, a Japanese survivor adopted and raised in Taiwan, becomes involved in the conflict. He hopes to facilitate peaceful coexistence between the two groups, navigating the complex social and economic challenges that have arisen in the wake of Japan's destruction. The anime explores themes of displacement, cultural clashes, and the struggle for survival in a fractured world.
