Synopsis
Raising a two-year-old son named Hikari while his husband Hiromu works, Masaki Fujiyoshi lives a pretty normal life, except the world they live in runs on omegaverse dynamics. Masaki is an omega, meaning he carried and gave birth to Hikari, and that fact alone makes their family a target for judgment and discrimination. The couple moves to a new neighborhood hoping things will be different this time. This 12-episode TV series from Studio Deen is quietly one of the most grounded BL anime out there. Instead of the usual will-they-won't-they tension, you're dropped into an established relationship where the couple is already married with a kid, and the real conflict comes from the outside world not accepting them. It's domestic in the best way: grocery runs, playground visits, Hikari being adorable, but underneath all that warmth is this persistent ache of two people trying to protect their family from a society that sees them as lesser. If you liked the emotional sincerity of Sekaiichi Hatsukoi or the found-family warmth of Super Lovers but wanted something more focused on actual parenthood and daily life, this hits that spot. The childcare element isn't just decoration either; watching Masaki and Hiromu navigate being dads while dealing with their own insecurities gives the whole thing real emotional weight. It's gentle, it's honest, and it doesn't rush to resolve problems that realistically take time.

CUTENESS OVERLOADDDD finally get to watch them being animated and this is sooo wholesome >_< Hikkun is exactly the same as he is in the manga!! So cuteeee aaaaa
Such a wholesome finale to such a seiso anime 🥰💕Once again, the resolution isn’t 100% picture perfect, but it’s an excellent ending!! I love the comfy and hopeful energy~ This story needs another season huhu. I wanna see the other couples develop 🥺
Oh wow, this penultimate ep piles on the intensity! Matsuo and Yuki are suuuuper cute~ 😊🫶But on the flip side, the emotional ABO-centric drama with Mochizuki is so crazy heartbreaking 😭Love the classic drama scene of our main couple though☔️🌧️ Man, the poor innocent babies have no clue about what’s going on 💔
The twins are so entertaining LOL, I love their intense himbo energy 😆And all the Matsuo-Yuki teasing is so nice hahaha~ Why is it that even Hiro-san and Ma-chan are lowk shipping them? 🤣
Hehehe, a new wittle fwend for Hi-kun 🍅!! But omg, the poignant undertone is immediately so palpable in this ep 🥺I’m tearing up… this episode’s sooo bittersweet yet so healing huhuhu 😔🥹I love that surprise reveal at the end though hahaha~
Woof! Such a sweet opening scene 🐶Hi-kun is so talktative and he has such loving parents that support him huhuhu so cuteeeee~ And I like the nuanced take on the family drama, it’s not a perfect resolution, but it’s still a nice outcome 🥰More scenes of Matsuo-Yuki as well hehehe!
The opening scene’s so melancholy… Poor Masaki is carrying so much sadness, but at least he has his lovely warm family 🥹And it seems that everyone is already coming to understand that 😊The Matsuo-Yuki dynamic is a nice aspect of this ep too~ Hikari continues to be the cutest kid here 🥰
Such a lovely birthday celebration at first, but… Oh my, cue the family drama yet again 🥺But omg the conflict’s pretty juicy though?! 😳Masaki’s story is so fascinating, and Kazuhiko is such an entertaining provocateur for our main couple 😖
Wahhh, that onii-chan to onii-chan communication~ 🥺🫶Hi-kun is the CUTEST, kindest, most diligent niinii 🥰I like the gentle moments with the extended family as well hahaha… oh, so heartwarming 🥹😭💕😍
Awwww the growing family is soooooo adorable huhuhu 😭💕But there’s a tiiiiny bit of a poignant tone in this episode with Masaki’s concerns 🥺Overall, super light and healing domestic feelings… babies are too cute 🥹
It was nice how it tackles more about the dynamics, support, and the acceptance that will not only come from the society but also from oneself. It’s been hard to live with such judgement and preference but this shows how they can overcome it. It was actually more on the realistic side if we don’t think about the ABO concept. Anw, it’s been nice and the emotional journey has been good. The pacing, build up, and animation was great. And I can say that this will be my go to comfort anime. Highly recommended!
The realization that Yuki had was really interesting. Also, this is the concept that made the ABO dynamics unique. Tho, it was kinda intense and emotional but I get where Mochizuki is coming from. It’s really hard knowing the differences. But what I completely refuse to accept is that how can they feel something even if they are already marked? Anw, it has been interesting but I feel bad for the kids.
I like the artstyle with the twins. It was a funny ep for me! I’ve been laughing while watching the twins' antics and the way they sync was pure comedy to me. Also, the love interest was also getting interesting to me. It was also nice to see Yuki being more open now and I think he’s grown a lot compared to ep 2.
Aww, Michi is so cute! Another cutie added this ep! But what catched my interest the most is that I realized some kids really take after their parents. It was all cutesy and fun but there’s also a little bit of emotional which kinda makes this more realistic. I can also see Masaki’s growth and development on this. And the end was such a cliffhanger!
This is a very wholesome and heartwarming ep! I love how the cuties are all in one frame, they are so cute and adorable. Also, I like how the atmosphere feels light and peaceful. I think that’s also what Kazu wants to hear from him. So, all’s been good and this also has been a great ep again.
So this is what it feels to be love huh? The support that Hiromu gave was a solid effort that Masaki needed. Also, it was so cute to see Hikari trying to make his day a little productive. So far, i like the emotional balance this ep and the pacing was good. I think my favorite word for this anime will be ‘heartwarming’ coz it really is.
