📖 SYNOPSIS

Set during the Sengoku period, the anime follows Nanashi, a ronin who rescues Kotarou and his dog, Tobimaru. Kotarou, an orphan with no family, becomes the target of a mysterious Chinese militia. He hires Nanashi to protect him. The militia is led by Rarou, a blond-haired, blue-eyed warrior who is exceptionally skilled. Rarou, unlike his comrades, is not bound by loyalty to any emperor; he simply desires to fight strong opponents. He answers to Byakuran, an elderly man within the militia. The story explores themes of protection, duty, and the clash between different cultures and fighting styles. The central conflict revolves around the pursuit of Kotarou and the ensuing battles between Nanashi and the militia.
