Kazu Notus, a biologist, packs his research gear and heads into an enchanted forest to study a race of elves — specifically, elves known for being, well, extremely forward. That's the entire setup, and it commits to that premise completely. When he meets Frey, one of the local elves, it becomes clear pretty fast why these particular elves have such a reputation. The two-episode OVA from T-Rex, based on the manga, leans into its fantasy setting with decent production values that give the elf world some visual charm — think lush forest environments and character designs that lean into the classic elf aesthetic while keeping things consistently adult-oriented. The humor and sensuality are genuinely intertwined rather than awkwardly separate, which gives the whole thing a lighter, more playful energy than a lot of similar titles. Kazu's outsider perspective as a scientist trying to stay objective around elves who have zero interest in letting him do that is where most of the comedy comes from. If you've watched Yandere Dark Elf: She Chased Me All the Way From Another World and wanted something with a similar fish-out-of-water dynamic, or if you liked the elf-focused absurdity of Those Who Hunt Elves, this scratches a comparable itch. It's short, it's upfront about what it is, and it doesn't pretend to be anything else. Two episodes, a straightforward premise, and it delivers exactly what it promises.
