Synopsis

When a bio-engineered cyborg called Dragon — originally designed as a secret weapon — suffers a gene manipulation failure and becomes a sex-crazed monster on the loose, a very specific kind of mess needs cleaning up, and three government agents are dispatched to handle it. Anne, Layla, and Vanessa Hammer are the team assigned to track it down and eliminate everyone connected to the project. The mission brief sounds like a pulpy espionage thriller, and that's mostly what you get — except filtered through the lens of late-90s hentai horror. This 1997 OVA from PP Project leans hard into the dark, creature-feature side of the genre. The horror element is genuine, not decorative. Dragon is framed as a threat, and the agents are competent women in a dangerous situation rather than passive figures. The tone sits somewhere between a B-movie creature feature and an erotic spy thriller — think less glamour, more grit. If you're familiar with the vibe of Agent Aika or 009-1, you'll recognize the template: capable female operatives, dangerous missions, and content that doesn't shy away from mature material. It's closer in spirit to something like Lupin the Third: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine in its female-led espionage setup, though significantly darker and explicit in execution. It's a single episode, so the commitment is low. Just know going in that this is unapologetically a product of its era and genre — don't expect restraint.
