The situation around him keeps escalating. The threat isn’t just some distant danger now, it feels more immediate and personal, like the line between control and chaos is getting thinner. You can sense that even the people who think they’re in charge are way over their heads.
Man, episode 1 really threw me straight into that old-school, high-stakes world right away. It feels like everything is built around this idea that there are forces and relics out there way beyond human control, and the tension comes from people trying to either protect or exploit that power. I liked how it didn’t overexplain—just trusted you to feel the danger.
